Also, protip: never recruit bowmen or crossbowmen. They'll be marginally more useful than a pet rat until they run out of ammo. |

Started a new fortress, so far the map is only about one season old. The barracks, siege weapon training ranges, hospital, primary store rooms, and underground water storage system (it's underneath everything else, didn't take a screenshot of it) are under construction, along with the basics of the surface fortifications. My 7 dwarves have been real busy. Also the region is Heavily Forested, Warm, Untamed Wilds. And it rains a loving lot. |
