Dwarf Fortress Megathread! - Necro'd enough to count as a vampire

The goblin swordmaster was stabbing people and running from me, i threw a lot of crap but it disappeared for some reason, when the swordmaster stopped to try and kill a person that gave into pain, one of my soldiers tried to hit him, he got cut up a bit, but then I came behind the swordmaster and cut his right arm off, he dropped his precious sword and I stabbed him through the brain.

When you miss, it doesn't say anything and you stuff lands on the ground.

I got TONS of masterwork clothing that I promptly put on.
I also got a cool sword + shield
What's better, a masterwork iron sword or a normal silver sword?
