How do you not get hated? Usually stealing or assaulting anyone makes you hated everywhere.

I've had my sword stolen from me before, I managed to throw my steel shield and kill the enemy the next turn though. I felt like Captain America.

How does one get a weapon stolen? Does it get lodged in the enemy and then they pull it out and use it?
Usually my targets are too dead or too weak to steal stuff from me.

Yeah, if it gets stuck a sufficiently good wrestler/big/strong enemy can steal the weapon. Good wrestlers can take it right from you sometimes too.
