Okay, just to clear up any confusion.

Gun Guy (guy with gun) owned lots of golf trophies. Thief (guy who gets shot) stole Gun Guys #1 trophy out of jealousy. As Thief ran into the woods, Gun Guy saw him escape and grabbed his gun. Gun Guy was a lot more fit then Thief, so out of complete rage, Gun Guy grabbed the trophy from Thief's hands and knocked Thief over the head with it, giving Thief a concussion. Without a second thought Gun Guy held the gun up to Thief's head and pulled the trigger. Then in slow-mo, the bullet leaves the barrel, and...

Now right here; Gun Guy has already pulled the trigger. Thief IS GOING TO DIE.
