My god, I love it ;_;

Good. The Forest Preview video that that guy copied and claimed to be his, was removed.
Success.
How did he manage to get it? Where did he take it from?

Prolly from Youtube where its posted publicly?
He didn't have the save if that's what your wondering...
He just stole the video.

Oh, I thought he got the video before it was up on youtube.

Is there a reason why you won't release the save? The very nature of Blockland lies in building and making additions to builds. If people host crappy servers that are event-broken copies of your RPG, so be it. Only stupid people would host or join those servers, and that's less stupid people to be on your server. And if people want to enjoy playing single-player on the map, they can do so.

THis is my opinion on things. People will often say that it's because they don't want other people to claim that your work is theirs butit doesn't really matter. As long as you know that you built it doesn't matter what other people think.

If I release the save so other people can host broken copies of my RP, it would do nothing but waste their own imagination. Instead of just using my build, why not look at the build I made, learn from what I did, and make your own, all your own?

I put this up here as an inspiration and a teaching device to new builders trying to obtain building skills and ideas.
I also would not want to release an unfinished RP..

I may release a save then the RP is more completed.

QFT

This is also why I almost never save other people's builds unless I need time to examine it. Usually though I take pictures instead.

1. That's an OK idea, but still: what if you just want to play single-player on your well done thing, without having to learn "complicated and never released events?"

2. This seems to go against your other points. It would be more of an inspiration and teaching device if it was released: that way the new builders could use something as a base.

3. I understand.

I just enjoy saving really good builds and then adding lots of stuff to them: but I never host these things on multiplayer. I just like tweaking things to my liking.

1. How do you play an RPG by yourself? Bot events can hardly make up for the missing players.

2. If it was released noobs like JJDawg would immediately claim it as their own. Also if you really want to learn from it just go to his server when its up and save the build. You don't need the events to learn how to build.

4. If you really like to do that go make your own system. Some addons are private for a reason.

RPG =/= MMORPG

We don't know that this is designed to rely on player cooperation.

True. Just saying that I don't feel that RPG's are all that great by yourself.
