We followed the footprints for a while, eventually leading us to the nearby, mostly ruined, city. I stood there for a moment, looking at what it had become.
"Er, here we are. We won't be able to follow the footprints anymore." I say, turning to them.
"Well, now what?"

"What the hell..." I say as I lower my aim and move closer to the building.
I kick open the door and head inside, my pistol at the ready. Whatever that was I was about to find out.
