With the lights on, I could easily see a human shape attacking him. I lunged and swung my sword at the attacker.

He easily deflected it. "Pitiful."

"roostery as always. Be warned zombie, he's good. Reeal good."

I shook my head. That was too easy, I thought.

I gritted my teeth. I growling, I swung hard, upwards and to the right.

He deflected, then aimed for zombie's legs. I joined the fray, aiming for the neck.

I jumped, and managed to dodge and attempted to step on the sword, but it just cut my khaki pants. "Damn, that only works in movies!" I lamented.

I regained my composure and stabbed at him.

He quickly dodged. "So, brother, who's your friend?"
I said nothing and attacked again, trying to stay out of zombie's way.

I found myself dodging like in those action movies, there the villain swings his melee weapon and the hero narrowly dodges each swing while backing up. I was sure it wouldn't be long before one hit me...
