Yes, but I rarely use it because it's cigarettegy, dumb, and not nearly as much fun.

How to get high killstreaks

Sniping is very rewarding in terms of killstreaks, it just takes longer.

Silencers help on automatic guns

Scavenger is a must unless you're sniping, then use Sleight of hand pro.

Stopping power is very helpful

Ninja pro is good too

There's no such thing as camping unless you wait in a low traffic area for someone to pass. Sniping from a building isn't camping, and there's no wrong way to snipe as long as most of your shots are on target.
Dnitro:
I usually end up getting killstreaks buy choosing a class that somehow fits the situation.

I was raping on Favela with an RPD a month or so back. Just now I got a collateral with a Barret thermal on scrapyard. I got around 25 kills in one match of domination with a UMP and a thumper on Quarry. A while ago I was dishing out kills with an M4A1 on Terminal.

I usually pick a class that seems to go well with the map at the beggining of the match and just start slaughtering everything. Sometimes I see that I'm doing bad with one class and switch to another. Sometimes I just have a really bad game.

Well for some reason I always get lots of kills and often have KDR's in the 2's and 3's per match.  I just can't streak the kills together.
SlayerZ99:
I actually believe, in Modern Warfare 2, that, in order to get killstreaks, its really comes down to this
>Personal weapon preferences
To me, I can rape with any gun. I find that all guns are all pretty good.
>How you play
I tend to be more tactical than just running around (Camping) Like on wasteland I usually sit on top of the house with           an Intervention
>Mess around
Sometimes I like to make weird classes and just experiment, or sometimes instead of being tactical I'll just run around
