I'm easy to please when it comes to games so I generally don't care what any people think about it.

Silly me, I almost forgot you're literally handicapped. You can't even make a point since you're jumping between "graphics don't matter" and "this game looks bad and that is a bad thing".

Graphics are an eye-catcher. If someone released an FPS with Doom-style graphics in this day and age, they would be a laughing stock (unless they were an indie dev). On the flip side, with a game that looks like this, it catches the viewer's attention. Unfortunately nowadays the average person seems to judge games a bit too focused on graphics, instead becoming "that game looks ugly, it must be stuff" and "that game looks beautiful, it must be amazing".
