Say hi to everyone in the school

I've got my freshman orientation in a few hours. Its where we get our locker combos, meet our teachers, ect.

So basically a day of school without learning. forget yes.

Just finished my first day of 8th grade.

It sucked.

Hooray for being homeschooled

Homeschooling doesn't offer the proper social skills that you could get from a public school.

Lol freshmen. Basically, just be yourself. In high school, that's where people (who are mature enough) usually sort out into the group of others they're comfortable with. For example, I'm a sophomore, and I'm finally starting to find other kids like me. Gamers, you know? I had a long discussion with a junior named Nick this morning in German 2 about upcoming titles like Deus Ex: Human Revolution and Mass Effect: 3.

Like I said, just be yourself.

Public schooling isn't supposed to be a time for socializing, lol

Why do you think so?

You must not have friends at school then.

Nooope.

Homeschooler and loving proud of it.
In a homeschool group with almost 350 kids
I get plenty of socializing...

Of course, almost every 14-16 year old girl in the group is either in a relationship or was in a relationship :u

You can't have love with highschool chicks if you are homeschooled.

I see most of my really close friends several times a week, at least when it gets a bit later into the year and everything picks up.
