Anyone remember Blockland V8?

MackTheHunter:

Around the time I first joined.

There were no events, but there was one mod by Space Guy, called "Wrench Events" that limited you to 4 basic events on just one brick. It used a similar relay system if I recall.

You couldn't change the properties of bricks. You couldn't fake-kill them, you couldn't make them non-collidable, no raycasting or no collision. There was one mod that gave you a spray can option to remove collision from one brick, though. And another one that let you go completely invisible with one brick.

There was the funky rainbow shirt script. Everyone hated it. It dragged on until around V12.

Fooly Cooly's commands. Whoa, what an adddon.

JVS was a weird system. There was the doors, which were spawned from hanging bricks. They were weird to configure. There was also JVS Portals which let you teleport between bricks. You had to set your wrench to "JVS mode".

Serious nostalgia. Share your stories of the single digit versions here.

I don't exactly remember which version I joined in. I believe it was V9 though I may be wrong. BL_ID: 11426. I remember going to my first server though. It was a sort of RP that was badly built but people were flying in jets and DMing. I specifically remember Lord Tony kicking ass and spamming rocket projectiles at me and other blockheads. Lol fun times.

Bahamut:

now i'm jelly. >:C
