Anyone remember Blockland V8?

I was on Mac then full time, couldn't play OGG files in v8. It juts made static. :c

Not really.
The time of a shoddy add-on system, low quality control, loads where you had no clue how many files there were to download, a time where pro-eventing was making a brick fire an emitter with Space Guys mod (as Mack referenced) and where you couldn't move your hands except for hug motion (there was no need for onActivate as no default events, so hand animation didn't exist).

I joined in v9 when events were a bit more lovey and I remember all the hype about Fooly's commands and all the good times and all the awesome and all the I want to go back :c

The add-on system wasn't that bad, It was the same as what we have now just that we had to put the models and code into individual folders.
And i loved them anyway, the addons back then had a certain kick to it, they provided necessary/practical parts for any server you were making, for example, Kaje's shotgun for deathmatches.
But nowadays everyone just wants REALISTIC ANIMATION HIGH POLY COUNT RELOAD TIMES HANDS REALISM
Oh god why the forget can't people just pick the default weapons since they don't have things like that, they're tried and tested and works.
