Wait, are blockland servers proxy servers?

No, in fact, if you left the server running, that would prevent people from doing bad things on that port. Because anyone connecting to that port will be redirected to the Blockland server, in which, only accepts certain data.

If it were dangerous to host servers, then routers would not have UPnP, and all games would need dedicated servers. But that's not how it works, so routers do have UPnP and games do allow player hosted servers.

Why not? When you use Kalph's hosting service, the server isn't being hosted on your computer or internet. It's hosted on the service machines' internet. This would be 'more safe' than hosting it at home, not that it was dangerous in the first place.
