Yes, but have you ever been telling a joke to your friend at a party or school or anywhere else, then some person you don't know comes into the conversation while you're both laughing and decides to join in, that persons laugh ruining the joke for both you and your friend?
It's the same thing

if someone decides to join in because they already know then it makes it funnier

But they don't know it, and they don't understand it because they didn't hear the joke being told.
That's why it ruins everything

The only people who have the right to laugh at a joke are the people who heard the joke being told.
