I'd like to know the source of those facts above please.

Nice way to put my age into it good sir.

If all that is true, I would legalize marijuana ONLY for health purposes.

yeah I did that cause you might as well have made up all you've said this far, all the "facts" you claim etc.

also I'd like facts instead of some "ten reasons to do drugs" declaration

Not physically addictive, mentally addictive.

But they get away on a technicality.

I'm also questioning the legitimacy of those facts. I've never heard of the company that has published it.

My "made up" facts?

The government granted money to Dr.Tashkin to do a study, and they found out even though there were more carcinogens in marijuana, there was a significant decrease in the chance of getting lung cancer compared to their non-smoker control.

My reason against marijuana.

Why do many people claim to use it? To be 'happy'.
Not that I know from experience or anything, but articles and other users (some on this forum) said that it does something with chemicals that go into your brain and make you happy, just as anything else that makes you happy or whatever.

So then, here's why I'm against that.

You should earn happiness by accomplishing something, solving a problem, or being given a thoughtful gift (whether it be materialistic or not).  You shouldn't be able to just turn away from these things just because you can light a plant on fire and act like a senseless child. It's also very evident that everyone I know that does marijuana is mentally slower than everyone else. I'm not sure if this is a proven fact or if it's actually a side-effect, but it's something I've noticed. I'm still wondering if it's the drug that makes people handicapped, or if they only did it in the first place because they were handicapped.

People taking it for medical purposes is fine.

However, I think it should only be used for medical purposes then. The negative effects don't outweigh the positive ones and not everyone in the community suffers from these ailments.

I wouldn't give this out to the general population. It would be unsafe for people who were idiots and went into public high and it could potentially harm them.

besides it's not a very good idea to be high when everyone is carring around weapons

I see what you're saying, but "happy" isn't the right word. It can be used as a painkiller, and a way to relax so you have less stress.

Personally I don't need it myself, its would be nice to not hear propaganda.
