No, the big name scary corporate teams get the prodigies from the university, everyone else gets stuck as an indie dev or finds another job.

I also know people from 2K Games Australia and Micro Forte. I've also meet some other industry people such as the personal from Qinetiq (Military simulation builders and robots among other things), holy stuff that reminds me I get to visit there 12 3D projector simulator room on friday.
