Listen, you little stuff. It's not as if the hurricane can't downgrade. It still uprooted trees, it still flooded Brooklyn, it still caused damage, it still killed 7 to 10 people. Would you like me to laugh if you had a hurricane hit Seattle? And don't act like it's impossible, because pacific cyclones are common.

Eh. Yeah, NOAA downgraded it at approx. 9 AM today. It'll probably be gone completely by the time it hits the Adirondacks.
