Author Topic: searchlight model (milkshape) problems  (Read 1590 times)

I been work on this model searchlight, some my friend told me that texture some missing. and box handle are uneven and inside bottom are little mess up. how I am going fix it. This my fisrt model at milkshape, not other progams.

look like finish model, but....


There some textures missing (uncheck of Draw Backfaces) and Wireframe show me, they are finish texture.

anyone can help me with this a model?

I know, I did test it, but what about uneven box handle and inside searchlight little mess up., I have re do whole model again? I am try make perfect box handle fit to player hands. Any suggest?

To make cube handles, you can just delete the cylinder ones or restart. It shouldn't take long to redo, once you did it the first time.

Doesn't need to be flatshaded if there are smoothing groups.

Flatshading it fixes texture glitches.

Now, I still can't tell what he wants...

I got it fixed, not worry about player model. I wil re-do whole model,  I try make it look more better shape model for searchlight and box handles. I will add giant searchlight later.

The point of my flat-shading question was for looking at the model at a point of view how we will see it in Blockland.  Why do you need smoothing groups?
