Author Topic: What do I do at a Bar Mitzvah?  (Read 681 times)

I'm going to my friend's Bar Mitzvah tonight, but I have no clue what to do. I don't want to end up offending anyone and having the high priests in Jerusalem hate me.

basically look at what everyone else is doing and just follow suit.. be quiet when asked and don't talk to your friends throughout the service

Timezones, ever heard of 'em?

Lol Bar Mitzvahs are pretty cool and eat everything you can at the luncheon k?

Also all you have to do is sit there with the book open and stand up when everyone else does and sit down when everyone else does.

I've been to my friend's Bar Mitzvah. His parents planned a bunch of epic party stuff for afterward, not sure about your friend. Just be patient, since you aren't Jewish. A great deal of stuff he says will be in another language, at least during the service. Be there and congratulate him when its over.

Since people already gave sarcastic advice and ruined the joke, All i can say is , just do what everyone else does, don't speak unless spoken to, just blend in.
