Homeschooled here. My parents took me out of public because the schools here have no discipline at all. One time I was suspended when I was the one getting bullied, and another time I was literally beaten with tennis rackets because I didn't give the kids the color they wanted, and nothing was done about it.

And I understand how she feels. My school is really bad about not doing stuff about bullying. I even told the Dean of Students that he sucks so bad at it, that he is part of the reason that the teen Self Delete rate goes up, because he is in love with the football team, and all the starfishs in it.

Yeah, unfortunately at the school I used to go to, even so much as drawing a sword or gun could get you expelled. And yet on the rare occasion that they do have actual discipline, it's always directed at the kids who were good and actually helped keep the school district's grades from dropping way too low. The school district here's overall grade was a C when I was in it, but more and more parents are taking their kids out of the schools here to the point where it's dropped to a D.
