What about popular builds that got positive feedback and wanted to be hosted, but couldn't do to lack of hosters? And it would be 24/7, correct?

99 is the max safe number of players.

Ok, but doubt anyone could make a server popular enough to ever have the need for that many people. I could always host multiple servers though.

I don't think anyones ever gotten past 50.

Badspot's server after major updates seems to get that full.
