I have been working on a ship recently, could someone from oceanco come to my server and check it out? (Because I don't know if the clan server has the bricks I'm using) My in-game name is Kolt, if you're interested.

I would like to see the dedi and build an app for the clan, SailorMan probabally wouldent let me join, but my BL is being handicapped anyways.

The dedicated server is open at all times. You may join directly via this link: http://blockland.us/detail.php?ip=68.168.212.106&port=30900&blid=27034

I will connect to Blockland and join your server as soon as I can. I'll do my best to make it tomorrow in order to avoid a rather hectic holiday schedule on my part. If it can't be tomorrow it probably won't be until next week.

[UPDATE]

Oceanco is now opening itself for commissions! Need a boat built expertly for yourself, your friends, or a clan? Click here to get started!

Don't you think $15 is a little high considering a person could go on the server and save it?

Well, my computer isn't working right now (I'm posting this from my iPod) so next week would be the best time for me. The ship might not be done now, but I'm fairly sure I'll finish it by next week. Anyway thanks for agreeing to check it out!

Computer is working now, I'll put a server up.

And save what? I doubt StarHawk will host the ships people are paying for in a public server for anyone to make a save of.

Fawkes is right. Nothing will be hosted without acquiring explicit permission from the commissioner. Besides, the point of commissioning is to get the yacht that's perfect for you. Sure you can go save one and call it yours, but you could also pay to have a ship built exclusively for you and not have to take someone else's. Additionally, I believe $15 is fair, considering the amount of my freetime boat building takes up.

Will this be custom ships you work on yourself, or does all of Oceanco work on them?

I would accept assistance from any Oceanco members skilled and ready to help but I think ultimately I would be the one building things.

Wait, I showed you my ship on my server, how will I get it on to the oceanco server if I am a skipper?

You will be granted temporary administrator privileges for which to load your ship onto the server. I suggest you make a save of your ship with it built several cubes up into the air, to ensure it doesn't overlap, and then duplicate it down to the water.

Ok thanks

Sorry, one more question: should I load my ship on the applications server or wait?

Well you need to be an admin to load don't you?
