Author Topic: GOP presidential debate  (Read 1711 times)

I'm not 18 yet, but I will be in time to vote. I have constructed a list of I people I know I'll vote against:
Ron Paul
Rick Perry
and Barrack Obama.
*Clap* At least one civilized person.

Isn't the GOP one of the groups that stubbornly support cutting taxes? Correct me if I'm wrong.

I don't like Huntsmen much :c

Basically, if by GOP you mean Grand Old Party.
They think cutting taxes will help the economy.
They also believe in trickle-down a theory that if they provide tax breaks for the wealthy that it will help all american citizens and you can see from here it doesn't.

no, grand old party is just the republicans.

you thinking of tea party. the evil republicans that set themselves apart.

I think Rick Perry is the most liberal of the bunch.

Regardless, I've been watching and they're all ignorant in some field.

The basic theory is that if the rich get tax breaks, it will be enough of an incentive to invest in more infrastructure and businesses to create more jobs and stimulate the economy that way. It can work small scale  but large scale it could fail drastically.

Anyways, you still don't want to tax the heck out of the rich either.

Actually, most republicans believe in trickle-down.

and it doesn't loving work.

I have to admit though that Obama is being a pusillanimous individual and isn't getting stuff done.

i think taxing the rich is the way to go about fixing the economy a little.

I think if I was of voting age I'd vote for Obama. He seems to be the lesser of two evils.

However, I didn't like any of their policies on health care, immigration, economics ( i missed this but I'll assume it's the trickle down theory), or foreign policy.

I don't care too much as long as it isn't over 50% for them.

And I don't want the government spending it on unnecessary like the ongoing war, national healthcare (States can easily provide those systems if the people within them actually want it and we grant the power to them), etc.
