It was spam, of course they were.

This drama ended months ago, but i need to say one thing before it finally succumbs to the second page.

There's nothing wrong with the second page, or third, or even fourth or fifth.
The fact was that bump had no purpose, so it itself was spam, that doesn't mean bumping is allowed, infact, I wouldn't even consider a post on a second page topic to be a bump.
