Happened on a 1000 Ways to Die but I don't think a bullet falling at its terminal velocity would be enough to kill anyone.

Wait what the forget does it matter?  He shot himself point blank and he died.  The point of my post was to say if they were eating inside with all the windows closed it is possible the .22 sounded like a .30-06 from a far off distance.

Terminal velocity is about 200mph.

It's fast enough. Here in Arizona a teenage girl was killed by a new year's bullet and it caused Shannon's Law to be passed. Which makes it illegal to shoot bullets into the air.
