| High datablock count = lag ? |

Title says pretty much it. I'm wondering if having a lot of datablocks will lag your server more than having less datablocks enabled. I'm building something quite big, but I want to keep the brickcount low. So I was thinking about using many additional brickpacks to achieve that. Instead of using 2 5hight bricks, I would download a 10hight brick, for example. |

I don't think brick packs use datablocks. I mean, they are rendered indeed, but a script (The .blb file) is used to define the render parameters. So I think brick packs won't affect your datablock amount. I'd rather have you wait for someone better experienced in .blb files to assist you instead. |

Darablocks are blocks of data, of course a lot will cause lag. On my old computer, I tried to join friends, but the host had every Add-On in existence and after an hour of loading, I'd crash upon spawning. Turn off unnecessary Add-Ons if you want to keep datablocks low. |

Datablocks will increase the load time for people joining your server but I don't think they make you lag. |
