Because it's a bug, I'm working on fixing it.

I would very much like it if you did some sort of VIP escort mode, where one player is the "package" and has to be escorted to a certain location to win.

It would be awesome if you could modify how many lives each team has.

I set my lives to "0" and people still only get 1 life.

-1 just resets it to 0.

Already possible. Go to the team you want to change, click it. At the bottom right of the team panel you'll see a button that says Advanced. Go in there to get advanced team settings. Make sure to click Apply after changing!

Another thing:

I set my lives to "0" and people still only get 1 life.

Do the above, but set the team lives to -1.
