It seems like Army and i ran into an issue with the teamspawns.
They don't seem to work.
The players just spawn randomly even though we placed them right.
The print said it was set for the right team, yet it didn't make us spawn on it.

Wait I accidentally enabled tutorial on my server earlier, that could have forgeted up my game.

Attention:
Multiple issues have come up with Slayer as a result of the v21 update.

Note: These issues are a common problem, but due to certain circumstances you may not notice any issues.

These issues cause other problems to happen, such as spawns not working.

looks pretty tasty on the player's head


an unfortunate side effect of being mounted to the body is that it will be angled according to the player's movement
there's not really anything i can do about it, but maybe you can mount it to the legs or just make it static above the player's head? i dunno, alternatively i can just remove the spotlight effect


what i feel is a bigger issue however is that the ball isn't aligned correctly with the spawn brick

i made sure that everything in the model is centered on the ball, even the detail empties, this didn't help. i'm going to assume it's a side effect of the item spinning, since i recall the old item spin add-on had similar issues.

it looks just fine when dropped too. i'm hoping you can sort that out.

note please that i didn't feel like figuring out how to actually add it into the flag-type selector thing, so it just replaces the current default flag pole that i made forever ago.

I have a question regarding the CTF game mode:

During the server I hosted last night, players were unable to return the enemy flag to their team's flag spawn if their own flag was not present at the spawn (being held by an enemy).

Is there some way to disable this so players can always return enemy flags? Or is this a bug?

by return flag do you mean capture?
i believe in advanced or somewhere in the gamemode settings (in the main slayer menu) there is an option for that.
