You could always do what I do when I'm feeling low and bored: Make stuff up. Find a person/group of people and write their stories in your head. Follow them. See what they do, how they act. Develop a plot, improvise. See how they respond to life. They may decide what to do and where to go, but as you move along in the shadows, create why they do. Make them your children. Watch over them. Protect them. Teach them...
After a long while you begin to get good at it. But the more skilled you grow, the more bored you will get. So one day you get tired of simply making up a plot but instead listen in on theirs. And you find out all their dirty little secrets and sins they commit each day....and you know they have to be taught otherwise. So you set them up. You put yourself in their way. You trap them. You teach them a lesson they will never forget. And if they refuse to learn, well, I suppose that is one less student your class will have to place time into....and one less person this world would need to worry over.........
I watch too many movies. Seriously, though, the first paragraph is a valid thing to do. :o
