First off the "Novice" difficulty is less forgiving than that in Oblivion; in this setting you're not a god smiting everything that moves in one blow. You actually feel like your life is in danger when you go charging hammer-first into battle, and it's very nice.
Also, when your character swings his weaponLolol it actually feels like there's some force behind it, and it will hurt when it hits the enemy. Perhaps this was because they made normal blows feel like Oblivion's power strikes, and made the controller vibrate whenever you cast a blow.

Lol playing on xbox. But yeah hitting people is much more satisfying in this game. Especially when you do one of those knockout hits and theres a loud skullcracking sound. I just wish I had a nice 7.1 stereo system to play this with. That would be incredible.

You don't have to get it on steam.
This game has steamplay thing code, so you can buy it for cheap in some other store and you activate it on steam.
