I had a friendly conversation with a Giant recently.
I showed up on my horse in the outskirts of Whiterun to find a Blood dragon attacking a giant. It clearly wanted the mammoths. The poor giant was alone, and hunching over because it was nearly defeated.
I ran in, swords a blazing, shouting everything I could to defend Mr. Giant. The dragon plummited to the ground, landed right in front of me, as I stabbed it in the skull.
I went over to see if Mr. Giant was doing alright. Not so much. I used a healing spell on him to make him all better.
He stood there, not attacking me, looking right at me, scratching his beard occasionally. I don't think he wanted to hurt me.
He now roams the outskirts of Whiterun, and I know which one is him, because he travels alone with his mammoths and he doesn't harm me when I come near.
