Are we sure Giant launching is not a bug? I can understand them launching you a reasonable distance, lots of force, but that video is a just plain ridiculous example. Is it really intended for them to bounce your corpse off the ground, miles into the air?
Edit: A bunch of videos do call it a bug. Although that's the Giant's main attack, don't see how the developers missed it. Any Play as Giant mods out there?

I'm pretty sure it's a bug. There's a fix on Skyrim Nexus called something like realistic death force.
