How do you drop gold? I should think that you would need a mod to accomplish it and the construction set isn't out yet. I think that would be the type of mod that couldn't be done without it.

I remember seeing my gold in my inventory once, and I believe I could just drop it like any other item.
In Misc, maybe?

I think that happened to me once.
I was saving to buy the house in windhelm at the time and I thought I had 12k so I went to the steward but when I got there I had only about 1k.
