Akavir has some interesting lore to it. They have the the one race of men, another lizard race, a monkey race, and a race of cats that try to turn themselves into dragons. I think there may have been another race there. It's conceivable to make a game about the empire trying to once again invade the lands of Akavir after their first attempt (before the events of Oblivion, and I believe all the games). I'm pretty sure there will be DLC for Skyrim that involves fighting the Thalmor. I don't want to see the empire actually fall. |

Since you level your skills by using them and not distributing points on levelup you should not worry about it. And for perks just level whatever you feel would be useful at the time. You don't need to put planning into making an optimal character, its not multiplayer or anything like that. |
