i was beginning to expect a crap creation kit later on. this whole download support working with steam and such is really cool.

Man 2:

Gah. I want eight rings able to be worn at any time on your character.
I say eight as opposed to ten because who the hell wears rings on their thumbs?

So the toolset they used that you've never seen is crap?

how does the steam workshop work for tf2? can i just download them off my browser or do i have to open it in steam. because posting links will be more annoying if i have to paste them into steam to get a mod for skyrim, unless links convert to steam or something.

You don't download off of the workshop for tf2, the workshop's use for tf2 is for valve to choose good hats to include with the game, it's less about modding.  I imagine Portal 2 will use the workshop for its custom level support.
