The Elder Scrolls Megathread
LawtyLawt:
Elder Scrolls ONLINE?
It failed in Daggerfall.
And it failed in Batlespire.
So it'll fail here.
Man 2:
Arena and Daggerfall's player characters weren't voiced because they were born mute, it's as simple as that. Coincidence.
Morrowind's character wasn't voiced because he'd had his tongue cut out as a prisoner.
Same with Oblivion's player character.
Skyrim's player character isn't voiced because his Thu'um is too powerful for him to speak. Just a whisper could rend the earth asunder.
They all convey their thoughts through telepathy.
Guys.
I have it figured out.

Or
They're not voiced because its YOUR character, and voicing him/her would probably ruin immersion. I would hate if my character was voiced.
MegaScientifical:
I hate when my character has no character simply to relate to me. If my Skyrim Nord was like me, he'd fall over crying the second someone called him a skeeverbutt. :panda:
Man 2:
If my Skyrim character was like me, he'd have to work off a couple dozen pounds to fit in his Shrouded Armor.
