I just spent an hour finding graphical mods and making then work, hoping the game would look even better. Take my word for it, don't waste your time. As it turns out, a flower at a higher resolution won't change anything.

I killed an ice wolf with chillrend
the wolf died in one shot, and the paralysis part of chillrend's enchantment took effect
so it's dead, but it looks like it's standing up lol
