Well how would same love couple have kids? They're not just going to disallow them from having kids.
Then there's the whole female players being pregnant thing. That's not gonna work.

I'm okay with them having to officially support something like that - just makes it easier for mod makers to make modifications involving such things since they can base it off something which should work. (Otherwise, mass patch mod for it. :D)
