Man 2:
I should make a secondary character, a battle-hardened big ol' buff Nord warrior.
The appeal that comes from whacking something with a big stick until it dies cannot be understated.

I normally reference games
like my maces with fiery soul trap are normally called "shang tsung's soul sucker"
and my shocker bows are either "the distant storm" or "don't tase me bow"

I don't put much stock in enchantments, mainly because I'm a crap enchanter. I rely on alchemy. The key to survival lay strewn across the land; you just need to know where to look.
