Yeah, its obvious that he wont die, but I'm excited to see what he does to get out of it.

I mean, it seems like Moffat wrote himself into a dead end, I'm thrilled to see how he gets out of it.

As am I, but then I fear he may resort to something really cheesy.

"The Doctor was a ganger the whole time!" is what I picture happening. It'll be just as bad as a "it was all a dream" ending, as the Doctor would wake up somewhere else and be like: "oops, I'm still alive. Anyone got any fish fingers and custard?"

Actually, something I'm still confused about is when the Doctor and ganger Doctor switched shoes in that episode.
Like when the Doctor went out of the room they were in and screamed "why" and other stuff about the eyes. I'm pretty sure based on the chronology of events that was actually the real doctor. But that wouldn't make much sense.

I wouldn't be surprised if something happened like River doesn't shoot the doctor and they blame it on 'time can be rewritten'.
God that would suck.

I think they'll get out of it by not asking the question.

In the preview The Doctor was saying something like "all this time I didn't realize that the silence was not the universe ending, it was my life"
So basically if they avoid the question, he will live.

I think the Doctor that gets shot is a flesh duplicate that the real doctor creates to trick the universe into thinking he's dead. Then he regenerates, fixes and changes the TARDIS camo to something else, and goes by his real name.
