I hosted a wikkii for a game i'm working on, i've had no problem with it so far.

She talks about how we are established on Wikia and that the community would not know to move over. Also, Wikia allows Wikis to move to their own hosts, but BAN people for removing content from the Wikias. AKA You can't gut your Wikia site when you move, so people go there and see a ghost town which we don't want to manage.
