ddr2 spendy. (for reasons i still dont understand)

Software "fixing" doesn't do stuff. Replace your whole computer and you'll have a better system.
hardware replacement son.

hell, this computer is completely different now, i may as well have gotten a new one but this way is obviously much cheaper.
i'll post some photos of it in a bit.

So I've been getting the old as hell BlazBlue: Continuum Shift arcade machine rip to work on this thing and it run beautifully. Here's a comparison of my computer to the Taito Type X² that it was generally used with.

...i think this computer might be better than a taito type x. :cookieMonster:

My mon deals with a Dell Inspiron 2000 series, with a 2.47 GHz Pentium 4 and 512 MB of RAM. she browses the web on it but IE is even beginning to slow down for her. I can post a pic later.

Format it for her.

Naw. That "taito" would stomp over yours with a C2D and a 7900GS.
Also, what changes did you do to this machine?
I can see you swapped out the CPU and put lots of RAM in and installed 7.

Well for starters the tower is vaguely recognizable now... I had to cram three fans into it because of how hot it tends to get at times, and it sounds sort of like a jet engine. :x
I'll have to compile a full list of upgrades later, and perhaps a few pictures of its insides as I'd mentioned before.
