Holy forget, there are probably retail cameras that aren't that good around.
The still camera is 8 Megapixels, which is pretty good for a phone. 1080p is about 2 megapixels, basically any point-and-shoot can beat that on stills, but there are a few that can shoot 1080p I believe. I know a lot of DSLRs can.
The thing is, the camera is an sensor are smaller than a thumbtack, which means you can't match the image quality of a full-frame DSLR. But for being a pocket-sized phone, it's fantastic.
