He means "new" as in he never knew of the alternate brick textures available. And yes, I have created brick textures. I just never released them, and probably never will any time soon looking at how Badspot botched the custom UIs and brick textures with the new launcher.

mine is the same with a face edit and a really transparent single feather but i didn't copy him though i never even knew him. so if you don't know they've existed and you set your avatar similar to theirs it legit.
