im sleeping and waiting for front to maybe post

As I was examining the dark vents I remembered something.
'What if what I see isn't real? I see things in the darkness...' I thought.
I heard something scurry around.
"Come on you mutant freak..." I said as I crawled towards the sound.
It began to get distant.
"You're not getting anywhere!" I shouted as I dashed after it.
I started to get cold, and I wasn't wearing a shirt.
"Dang, have to go back..." I mumbled.
Something lunged at me, and I sent my chair arm into it's head.
It let out a screech, and died.
I crawled back, and gently fell to the floor, removing my mask and tank.
"Nothing of interest..." I mumbled.

I continued sleeping peacefully and began leaning towards Bee as I slept.

I looked back at DCB and smiled.
"She's got the rest of her life to win him over" I mused.
I was going to take a picture but there was no camera.
"Might as well grab a few blankets and cocoon myself to prevent freezing my butt off from lack of shirt, thanks..." I mumbled as I grabbed all the blankets in sight and wrapping them around me.

Juan Cabrillo was not a happy man.

He eventually weaved the 4 jumpsuits into a poor space suit and started manually breathing from the oxygen tanks. He grabbed a helmet and cut out some glass from the cyro chamber and made a makeshift helmet and connected the oxygen canister to it.
He laced his heavy boots with magnetically charged metal, and attached a fire extinguisher to a metal frame he made.

He then opened the door from the cyro room, to see the burning star and debris all over.

Thinking of a second option, he tried contacting anyone on his implant.
Hopefully some kind of AI will reply.
'lost in space. cyrogenetic room. any survivors?'

I felt like I heard something calling out, but was too busy with sleeping to really care. As far as I was concerned, it was interrupting my dream...

As I was cocooning myself I fell over and knocked over a table, letting out the sound of a bowl, wood, and a small boy hitting the floor.

I woke up, instantly noticing I had been leaning on Bee while he was still awake. I immediately became embarrassed and began apologizing before I noticed Max and trailed off.

"Are you alright?" I asked.

"I'm fine..." I said as I pulled the blankets off of myself.

I looked in a seemingly random direction as I got the signal again. "I'm picking up a distress signal," I murmured, getting up and jumping in the airvent. Maybe I'd be able to find Bee's journal, too...

And possibly read it...

No, that would be rude. I pushed the thoughts aside and crawled through the vent, trying to pinpoint the source of the signal.

I dove at her feet and grabbed her by her ankles.
"Take me with you..." I pleaded.

I looked back. "...Alright," I agreed reluctantly.

"Awesome, so where are we going?" I asked as I started wrapping blankets around me to provide warmth.

"The cryogenic room," I replied simply. "You might want to hold onto my back so you don't get left behind."

"I'll be fine, now all I need is a weapon, you got anything usable on you?"
