I really need a few technical details so that I can update as soon as it comes out. I'm really worried that I won't be around as soon as the update happens; I need to be there, too. --- Quote from: Badspot on October 05, 2011, 10:48:22 PM ---The launcher can run from "Program Files" (or "Applications" on the mac), your normal familiar Blockland files will be automatically written out to your user profile directory before running. Add-ons and everything will still work, you just put them in a different place now. To run a dedicated server, you will run BlocklandLauncher.exe -dedicated (and whatever other arguments you like). The launcher runs in console only mode, updates, then runs your dedicated server as normal. --- End quote --- So, these "familiar files" are the base files that all servers will share? I'm running multiple servers under one user and I'm afraid I'm going to run into trouble. |
