At least we got a PhD in Blocklandology.
King Leo:
So it will be possible to move the folder from My Documents to some other folder?
Cause as stupid as it sounds; my C drive is filled to the brim, and i really need to install BL on another drive.
Demian:
I have never heard of a game being in the My Documents folder. Minecraft and some other java games are in appdata but Documents. What. I like my games on a separate drive.

Like kompressor said, you can just copy the files to wherever you want them. Just like you can now. The only difference is that the launcher is supposed to make downloading and installing updates simpler and quicker. After you install an update, you can just move the files to wherever you want.

Oh no old people are being marginalized and everything is ruined why do we live in a world of poop.
Seriously, come on - obviously the community is made up of long time players and we value you a lot and listen to what you say and want to keep you. But we are not going to make every decision just to cater to people who have used blockland since launch. That is a good way to end up with zero new people playing the game and a decreasing number of "old school" players. Pretty soon no one is playing the game at all.
Instead it is better to make sure you encourage new people and make it easy for them. At the same time you make sure you keep more experienced players able to write mods, run custom servers, and so on. And you absolutely can do that with this system.
And because updates are easy, it means that if Badspot has a small feature he wants to add, or a bug fix he wants to do, he can do it in a few days instead of having to do a major release. So everyone gets more and better Blockland all the time.
If you don't have 100mb free for Blockland maybe you should spend $11 on a new hard drive: http://bit.ly/rlIBzT
Also, I was wrong, you do have to run the game from the launcher.
