The plan for v20

I'm not sure why you're going to not update. It installs itself into a new directory anyways. (and all it installs is the launcher and autoupdater)
Just try it and see if it works for yourself. 98% of the time the problem is specific to a user.

Or have a button on the main menu to view the changelog.

why do addons not work
idc about textures (UNLESS THEY ARE IMPORTANT FOR ADDONS)....
