I also don't like the mentality "Because it uses a hand model it sucks. I have a hook and I am not tan like that! Baw!" How else can we have nice custom animations?
Instead of complaining bout it, why not attempt to make and release a script that recolors your had to your avatar?

That would edit the file. don't think its possible.

The addon would need a bunch of color files in the .ZIP if it were possible anyway..
