dedicated -noconsole?

What would happen if you tried to start the dedicated launcher with the location

? Since the only thing that launcher launches is.. the console.

that's what I was thinking, but I didn't want to try it out lol

Yeah you need the console for the dedicated server, so you can shut it down and talk through the console and maintain the server. It would be a bad idea to do so.

You could end the process. Nothing special would happen at all. You'd just have a process running without a window. It happens all the time, look at your process list. I bet you can find no way to access half of them.
